[21 Oct 2009|07:54am] October 21, 2009 Okay, I know I promised songs, but I still need to get them recorded.  I also started working on a few new ones in the process, so everything keeps getting pushed back.  It doesn't help that my new job takes up all of my free time either.  They will be recorded very soon, though.  Once the "good" songs are recorded, I'll be sending out a demo to some nearby venues and see what I can do about getting some shows.  Anyone who is having a party, feel free to contact me about playing! -Terrick P.S. [08 Jul 2009|06:06pm] July 8, 2009 Summer's freedom has brought lots of new song ideas and more time to work on them.  I've taken a step back from experimenting with different styles and have finally fallen into a more focused style (I hope).  The songs still sound similar but have more of a pop rock/pop punk feel.  I'll let you be the judge when they're finished and recorded. -Terrick post comment

[28 Dec 2008|01:48pm] December 28, 2008 As promised, the new album is ready. It is titled 11 and can be downloaded for free from the music page.  A special thanks goes out to the Anderson family for letting me use their house to record.  Now that it is finished, I'll be working on booking shows and figuring out how I'm going to play guitar, drums, and keyboard at the same time.  And, as usual, I'll be going to concerts and writing more, while trying to get through the Spring semester. In other news, I heard the new (to me) Armor for Sleep album Smile for Them for the first time this weekend, and everyone should go out and buy it. While you're at it, buy their first two albums, too. They're all awesome. -Terr!ck post comment

[28 Nov 2008|03:06pm] November 24, 2008 As some of you might have noticed, I've added a few songs over the past couple months since the site went up.  I'm currently trying my best to get the rest of the demos recorded, and I've also started working on writing a completely new album. My goal is to get it all written and recorded in exactly one month (by December 24th).  I guess I have a head start because two or three of the songs from the demo CD will be on it, but the rest will be new. I have a few more weeks of classes left, and then I'll be putting most of my time into writing and recording to get both CDs finished.  I don't have any classes this week, so I might be able to get a couple songs written or recorded.  Nothing really has priority right now, so whatever I feel like recording gets recorded.  I also hope to start playing shows soon, but I have to find people who will come to them. Well, that's the update.  Expect lots of new songs to be available before 2009, or by December 25th if all goes well.  Don't forget to add me on Myspace, even though I hate Myspace! -Terr!ck post comment

[27 Sep 2008|09:49pm] September 27, 2008 I couldn't sleep well this week, so I stayed up until 4am Thursday and started working on this site.  Friday I went to a Brand New concert and stayed up until 4am again fixing the problems.  Now I'm at work, and although I'm still trying to get everything working correctly, it's pretty much finished.  This way, I'll be able to have all of my music available for download since Myspace sucks.  The lyrics aren't available yet, but they should be soon, after my homework is finished.  I still don't have any shows set up, though.  So if anyone wants to book  a show, click "Contact" on the left and send me an email.  You can email me even if you don't want to book a show.  I like emails. I'm trying to finish up two more new songs right now.  One is finished and just needs drums, and the other is a little over halfway written.  As soon as those two are recorded, I'm going to start making demo CDs to give out.  Until then, you can check out the music page on this site to download everything that is available.  I guess that's all for now. -Terr!ck post comment
